Bought this about a month ago. Am giving it only 4 stars because the shipping box was virtually useless. When it was delivered the shipping box was a mass of visible damage and emergency taping. I prevailed upon the delivery guy to help me open and check the item. When opened, the box was twice the size needed and filled with a little packing paper. Thus the box invited damage. The pad, however, is packed in a much smaller box that is so sturdy you wonder why it wasn't used as the shipping container. The pad itself was in perfect condition. This pad is sold by Amazon who usually does a much better job of packing.

My wife and I had recently bought 2 twin xl mattresses we put together in a king frame. The mattresses are so firm I looked for and found this pad to use on my mattress to soften it. I may have just gotten lucky but the combination of the firm mattress and this pad has proven remarkably comfortable. I've had a bad back for 40 plus years and have long since gotten used to getting up with my back so stiff it takes about a half hour of exercise and walking around to loosen it. Not now! I get out of bed pain free and then a little later maybe have just a twinge or two to get loosened up.

At our age we've had a lot of different mattresses including 2 latex twin xls we had for 7 years and replaced with these. None were as comfortable nor as good support as this combo of firm mattress and the innovations pad seems to be. When I lie on this pad I can feel every part of my body being comfortably supported. So much so that I almost don't want to get out of bed these days.

A couple of days ago my wife tried my side of the bed. Last night I ordered one of these pads for her. I'm betting that soon she will be sleeping more comfortably and also again have a level bed to make up.

At $52 delivered this mattress pad should certainly be worth a try. I am honestly very happy that I did......

Checked out a couple different items before ordering. The reviews for this one at $50 were much better than the cheaper one at $30. Decided to spend the extra couple dollars based on ratings. It was definitely worth it!!! This makes a crappy college style mattress with the springs coming through it feel like my $1000 mattress at home! (pretty close anyway). Would recommend to anyone!

I bought this mattress topper for my son's dorm room, it was perfect! I search many stores and sites for a 2 inch topper and the prices were at least $80.00. It not only fit perfect but it was great support. My son sleep on the mattress without a topper for orientation and said how uncomfortable the beds were but this topper made an extreme difference! I would highly recommend this topper for the price, college students will love it and you would not be disappointed.

I'm sold. I'm not surprised by the many 5-stars this product is getting. Can I give it 6 stars? Seriously, it's that great.

It really is a pleasure now going to bed with this on. I can't wait to lay down on it. It's like all that stiff tension disappears the moment you lay on it.

I really wish I had this sooner! It has turned my old stiff mattress into a luxurious first-class experience.

It arrived in a huge Amazon box (it was pretty beat up, considering the box had a lot of space than the product size; a heavy product rolling around in there), but the foam is actually wrapped tightly rolled up; it includes instructions to cut the outer paper to unwrap.

In cold temperature, the foam will get firmer. But once your warm body goes over it, it will respond and adjust to it. There is odor, but the company states it is harmless and will dissipate within a few days.

Pros:
- Sooo comfortable. Totally worth it.
- Great price

I purchased this topper for a hospital bed that my father-inlaw uses. He wears a clostophry bag on his side and his right leg has been amputated.( always ill and hard to please). Since sleeping with this topper on the bed his whole attitude has changed. We never thought he was not getting enough sleep! I now have purchased the second one just in case. This topper fits right(twin extra/long) on his hospital bed with extra/long sheets. I do not know who is the happiest, him or me. Great deal.

I purchased this memory foam mattress after arriving in Afghanistan to a bed (mattress)that appeared to be nothing more than a piece of fabric and springs and was clearly wore out and probably didn't cost more than $20. The first night the wire springs dug into my back and body so bad I chose to sleep on the floor. I began searching for a quality mattress that would sit on top of the worn out spring mattress. It arrived about 10 days later at my deployed environment and I haven't lost any sleep since. It has done a perfect job of dampening the rough mattress. I read the reviews prior to buying and noticed the number one complaint was the smell. It did have a very heavy chemical smell upon arriving and did take several days to even weeks for the smell to dissipate and to this day lingers slightly after a month and a half. Recommend allowing it to air out in an open area prior to use. I intend to leave this mattress behind for someone else to benefit from. Overall, I'm very happy with the mattress..
