I'm a 6'4 in shape 31year old male, and our 3year old king size mattress started to sink anywhere i slept on it. We tried switching sides/etc, but still ended with same results. Had Rooms2Go come out and do their pathetic measuring test, to see if we can return it under its warranty, but, apparently it wasn't damaged enough. Anyways, developed major mid-lower back pains, that would wake me by 5am every morning and couldnt get back to sleep. Was tossing and turning all night, just to spread the pain around. The pains would eventually fade away after 30-45minutes of getting up and about, and major stretching every morning, but was just a miserable experience. I had to do something. When we got married, we made the mistake of getting a softer-firm mattress, instead of a really firm one that I prefer and need, all because my wife loves the softer beds.

To the product, after reading many reviews on this and other types of toppers, i ordered the 3" extra firm twin topper a month ago, to just lay on my side of the bed. Yes, it makes the bed look very odd, but so far, it has been well worth it. The entire main pain I was having has gone away. I still wake a little stiff, but nothing a little stretching doesn't take away. I gave it a 4star, instead of a 5star, only because honestly I wish it was a little firmer. As I said, so far, so good. It solved my problem. I am now just worried about how long it will last and keeps its firmness. Time will tell. Compared to all other toppers, it was a fair price to see if it would even work, rather than buy a whole new mattress. It seems to be the only topper that offers "real firm capabilities" I've been meaning to even slide some plywood under it, to see how that goes. I'll update, if I end up doing that.

As for the complaints I read about it. After opening it, we laid it on a bed for 24hours and it perfectly unrolled. As for the smell, I really felt the reviews were overly sensitive. There's a faint smell that you would expect from a new foam like product, but nothing that had to be aired out. Unless you are sensitive to smells, I don't think its a big deal..

At first I was thinking about ordering a memory foam type topper until I came across this one and realized it is what I needed instead.I ordered this foam topper about two weeks ago and got it very quickly. I wanted to get more support from an older mattress and one that has always been two soft for my back.(Thanks to my trying to accommodate my ex) I had purchased the mattress and a soft topper from IKEA. Very good prices for mattresses at IKEA btw. However, why buy another mattress when I could have a $60 solution? I placed the IKEA topper on top of the new hard foam one and it is very comfy. Mattress no longer sags!(Wish I could say that about the rest of me oh well lol).They are not kidding when they say this is an extremely firm topper - don't buy it unless that is what you are looking for! This has saved my neck and back and even sitting up in bed to read or watch tv is now very pleasant! For the price it is unbeatable.Med detta sagt är det bara skum inget märkvärdigt och ja var inte skär exakt måtten på min säng till "t". Låt den helt rulla av sig själv (mina tog ungefär 6 timmar). This is the three inch topper so I can't even imagine how firm the five inch one is - but this one is a keeper....

Love this product! I bought a $1000 pillow topper mattress 2 years ago. After a little time had past, I felt like I was sinking into it causing back & neck pain. I am not the biggest guy in the world either 185 pounds 5'11". I couldn't sleep at all and I didn't want to spend another $300 on memory foam. I did my research and found this product which is a firm memory foam and perfect in every way. My wife and I love it. I sleep like a baby. If you're not sleeping throughout most of the night and you wake up in pain; your entire day sucks. A little hint if you have the same problem I had. Flip your mattress over & then put your 3" extra firm foam on there, even if it's a pillow topper. It'll feel like a new bed. Also, just a side bar...when you go to put your sheets on because it's an extra 3" added to the mattress. Just get the fitted sheet around all 4 corners of the foam first, then pull down around the mattress. I actually look forward to going to bed again. Best of luck! Highly recommend this product. Jag letade efter en madrass topper som skulle göra min säng känns fastare. Detta topper är AWESOME! Det är inte ett minne skum så att du inte sjunker in i den. Om du letar efter mjuka detta inte är det.
Men Om du behöver företaget upp en gammal madrass och inte spendera pengar för att ersätta ett detta är ett bra alternativ.
Jag säger som sparas i din kropp värme. Om du gillar en varm säng du kommer att gilla den här topper.
Det är inte så fast att du har problem tryckpunkt eller smärta. Jag säger cant nog hur stor denna topper är.
Jag satte den på toppen av min madrass och sätta en bäddmadrass täcka över den.

I purchased a memory foam 4" topper a few years ago but it became very unsupportive. It is very soft!!! It's made to compliment a very firm matress. However, if you're looking for a great firm topper buy this one. I have a very bad back problem and this really helps me sleep well. It took about 24 hours to get to the proper size and shape. This is the best firm mattress I have ever slept on. For this price it is a God sent gift!!!:)

I was contemplating the purchase of a memory foam mattress and couldn't understand the point of paying nearly four thousand dollars to do so. I read the reviews on this topper and thought I'd get a $70 test drive before making any committments. I tried a 1.5 inch topper some time ago and liked it. I "love" this 3 inch Topper. I'm 6 ft.- 240 lbs. -it supports my size perfectly and is extremely comfortable. The smaller topper was o.k. - this one is perfect. I've been sleeping like a baby ever since. I highly recommend this as a cost efficient alternative to a costly full size. This is without a doubt the way to go in my opinion.
