Jag gjorde ett gäng online och lokala söker innan man beslutar om denna madrass. Nu när vi har det i sängen och använder den på en daglig basis, jag kunde inte vara lyckligare. Den delar många av de funktioner som de dyrare madrasser, men utan alla klockor och visselpipor. Det är trevligt och fast, perfekt för oss.

When shopping for a crib mattress I read a lot of reviews from people whose babies weren't even born yet, which didn't tell me too much. The most important opinion is that of the little person actually sleeping on it! My 7-month-old has had this mattress for a week now and seems to be very happy with it. He has always been a good sleeper but had been starting to wake up a couple of times a night on the old mattress which was from my sister's second-hand crib. There was a hard, baby-sized dent in the middle which was also preventing him from sitting up properly in the crib to play with his toys. On this mattress he has slept an average of 10 hours straight each night with no waking up. He not only can sit up easier but has also learned to pull himself to a standing position (which is, I suppose, not always a plus...) When I was deciding what mattress to use with the DaVinci Emily II Convertible Crib I purchased, I decided I would mainly focus on the big three (Serta, Sealy and Simmons) plus DaVinci themselves. I wanted to make sure I got a mattress from a Company that knew what they were doing. I researched many different models, and of course as a new parent that I am, I wasn't going to hold back on price for the mattress on which my fragile baby was going to sleep in. I wanted something safe above all and well constructed. I looked at many mattresses that were priced around $150 and more, like the Simmons BeautyRest line, but then Amazon threw a HUGE sale on this mattress...lowering it from around $140 to $97! I said, what?? I immediately researched it everywhere including the Sealy website and then decided this was a STEAL! This mattress comes with a LIFETIME warranty! So for new parents that is pretty cool if you are planning on having more babies. It is very well constructed and it is quite firm, just perfect for a newborn. At least on my Emily crib, it fits perfectly. I can't be more happy...above all, Baby loves it! That is ALL that matters. For $97 it is a STEAL! I highly recommend it........

I ordered a different mattress from an Amazon seller that arrived damaged. The seller was a jerk, and the manufacturer felt bad for me... so they sent me an upgraded mattress. Boy, there is a difference! This one is going to be easier to clean, is lighter, fits the crib a little bit tighter (which means safer). This might be an odd observation - but it also smells good. Or neutral. The last baby mattress I bought had an awful plastic smell to it that didn't go away, even after airing it out for a week. This mattress is really firm, overall... but the top layer has enough give that it's also soft. I'm sure my baby will outgrow this mattress before it's worn out -- then maybe I'll try to sleep on it.

This is the second matress we have purchased. My children sleep great on it. Very firm but not uncomfortable. I would definitly recommend purchasing this matreess for your child. Fits in the crib great too!

After about a month of research, I decided to purchase this mattress based on other parent's reviews. We figured it was best not to buy a 60 or 80 dollars mattress because of how important sleep is.

It was a great purchase. My 5 month old daughter has slept 8-10 hours a night since 4 weeks old on this mattress.

My wife and I are convinced this mattress at least plays a part in that success. It has a quality and sturdy feel to it. My wife and I also have a Sealy mattress and it has held up well so far in 4 years.

I would highly recommend this mattress. Spend a little more and possibly get peace of mind like I did.

Review by nicdc : Sturdy mattress that fits Davinci Kalani convertible crib and standard sheets

I bought this mattress for a DaVinci Kalani 4 in 1 Crib with Toddler Rail and it fits perfectly with no gaps.

It's a very firm mattress with a plastic type outer core, so should be water repellent - I ordered the mattress two months before my baby's due date and opened the packaging to let the mattress breath, as advised.

It doesn't seem too heavy and I found it easy to lift up from the crib to change sheets.

Standard crib sheets from Pottery Barn (bought on sale!) fit perfectly and I also ordered a couple of Sealy stain protection mattress pads, which are fitted and they fit this mattress perfectly too.

So far I am happy with the mattress, time will tell how long it stands up to being slept and jumped on.

My daughter is two weeks old and so far so good with this mattress. His firm but not rock hard. Regular crib sheets fit very tightly so no chance of accidents there. I like this mattress. My sister is the one who told me about it she uses it for his son who is now two. She's never had a problem with it. Good price too!
